UFBA CMS Platform · Early Access

The Compliance Infrastructure That Powers 150,000+ Units — Now Available to License.

UFBA’s Compliance Monitoring System didn’t start as a software product. It was built over 45 years, one compliance requirement at a time, to manage some of the most complex affordable housing portfolios in California — work that is now ready to scale nationally. Now, we’re turning it into one.

How the platform works

One property. One platform. Every compliance obligation.

UFBA CMS is the single system of record for every regulatory layer on a publicly funded affordable housing property — and every workflow that keeps it in good standing.

How the UFBA CMS platform supports an affordable housing property An affordable housing property sits at the center, connected to seven platform capabilities: program rules engine, tenant income certification, on-site audits, compliance reports, document management, notifications and reminders, and role-based dashboards. The problem we’re solving

Compliance monitoring firms and housing agencies face a hard choice: build your own compliance technology from scratch (expensive, slow, risky), rely on generic property management software with shallow compliance features (inadequate for multi-layered programs), or outsource entirely and lose control over your process.

UFBA CMS is a fourth option: license proven compliance infrastructure built by the people who have done this longer than anyone in California.

What licensees get

  • Strict firm-level data isolation — complete security between accounts
  • Role-based dashboards for Compliance Managers, City Managers, Property Owners, and Tenants
  • Program-specific rules engine — LIHTC, Bond, HOME, HUD, Section 8, and multi-layered combinations
  • Document management, automated notifications, audit trail, and customizable compliance reports
  • WCAG 2.1 AA accessible interface — designed for regulated-industry compliance use

Who it’s built for

Compliance Monitoring Firms

Independent firms providing compliance services to housing agencies who want to offer their clients a technology platform without building software from scratch.

Housing Agencies & Authorities

Agencies with in-house compliance staff who want to modernize their workflow with purpose-built technology instead of spreadsheets or generic property software.

Where we are in the build

The UFBA CMS modernization is currently in active development. Security and platform-readiness work is underway, followed by user-experience refinement and a full interface rebuild. Thoughtful AI integration is part of the build, designed around the privacy and data-control standards public agencies require. Pilot-ready in late 2026. We are accepting inquiries from firms and agencies interested in early access now.
